To go with our member meeting and gearing up for a new year is a new Calendar for 2023. While nothing is set in stone, these are unlikely to change. Other dates and events will be posted soon! Click the header to see the whole calendar.

January 1: Membership Open to Returning Members

January 30: Membership Deposit Due for Returning Members

February 1: Membership Open to New Members

February 27: Full Membership Fees Due (15% late charge added after March 1)

March 20: Camp Registration & First Payment for Returning Members

April 3: Camp Registration & First Payment for New Members

May 27: Pool Opening on Weekends

Late June (TBD): Camp Orientation Mtg & Hot Dog Roast

June 26: Pool Opening on Weekdays

June 26: First Day of Camp

Aug. 18: Last Day of Camp

Callabar had their annual member meeting on Saturday, February 4th, 2023. The meeting was well attended and notes from that meeting will be posted here soon.

Pool Opening! May 28th and 29th

Hello Callabar Pool People!

The summer season is finally upon us! The pool will be open this weekend on Saturday, May 28th from 12 to 6PM and Sunday, May 29th from 1 to 7PM.

We are fortunate for all the hard work from our volunteers getting the pool and club ready, finding lifeguards, getting camp ready to roll, party and event planning, and all the other things make Callabar a great place to spend time with friends and family over the summer.

Again, here are the hours this weekend:

Saturday, May 28th, 12 to 6PM

Sunday, May 29th, 1 to 7PM

We have not yet secured a lifeguard for Monday which is Memorial Day.

If you know of anyone who is looking to lifeguard this summer, please send them our way. They can email the club at: info@callabarclub.org and speak to our out lifeguard coordinator, Katie Cahill.

Also, remember that this is your club. Come and enjoy the pool, clubhouse and grounds, but remember that we are member owned and member run. We hire lifeguards, camp staff and a camp cleaner. The rest of the club runs on members work to make sure it is a great place! YMCA Lifeguard Training

Linked here is the schedule for this year’s American red cross classes the YMCA will be offering. I am still working on finalizing dates for our water safety classes as soon as I get dates and time I will email that as well. If you have any questions please feel free to email.
